Sometimes back, my lecturer asked me to write a brief profile of any prominent person, and submit the same to be marked as the Continous Assesment Test (CAT). I thought for a while, then I an idea came to my mind...

PROPHET DR.DAVID EDWARD OWUOR.
                                                          
He is a distinguished Genetic Scientist and a Mighty Servant of God. To trace back His academic journey, He joined Makerere University for a Bachelor of Science degree, but later moved to University of Nairobi where He was to complete His first degree in 1988. In 1992, He joined Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel for His Masters Programme.

 In an interview with a Kenyan Journalist Jesse Masai in 2006, Prophet Dr. David Edward Owuor describes how He left His career as a genetic scientist and followed the calling of the Lord.

 After His masters, He proceeded for His PhD in Molecular Genetics at University of Haifa in Israel. He also holds a degree from the University of Giessen’s Institute for Genetics (Germany).

 Upon completion of His Doctorate from Mount Carmel, Haifa (Israel), Prophet Dr. Owuor joined the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center (UIC)-Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He also worked with several other organizations including The Department of Pharmaceutics-Earnest Mario School of Pharmacy, The State University of New Jersey (Rutgers) and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOSHI) of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).

He has prophesied many prophecies including The Hurricane Katrina in July 20th, 2005 which was accurately fulfilled on August 25th the same year. He has powerfully preached the message of Holiness and Repentance, urging people to forsake sin and embrace righteousness in preparation for the second coming of Christ Jesus the Messiah. 

 To confirm that indeed He is the one sent by God, The Lord has been allowing signs and wonders to accompany Prophet Dr David Owuor whenever He conducts meetings. He has commanded down the rain in several occasions, and in strict obedience to His words, the heavens have always obeyed by releasing  the rain. And as Elijah did in the Book of 1st  Kings Chapter 18, The Prophet of The Lord Dr. David Edward Owuor has not only called down the rain and fire, but He has also consistently fought the prophets of baal  who preach "Panda mbegu - saw a seed gospel" and those who viciously devour the sheep of Christ in sexual immorality. 

 His zeal and consistency in preaching the  message of Repentance and Holiness is unmatched. It is His anointing that has drawn millions of people to God, particularly  when they witness the power manifested by God through Him. He has prayed for thousands of people with different diseases,sicknesses and disabilities and many of them have been healed; including those with diseases that have no cure like HIV/AIDS - the documentaries of these healings are available on youtube. He has been  rebuking sin relentlessly with the aim of preparing a perfect Church-worthy of entering  the Kingdom of God.His  sermons are available on youtube, and on the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness website (www.repentandpreparetheway.org).

    HALLELUJAH? THERE ARE SOME THINGS REQUIRE PUBLIC OPINION BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THIS, IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS ELIJAH, THIS IS MOSES AND THE ONLY ONE SEND TO PREPARE THE NATIONS FOR THE COMING KING OF POWER.

THE VENERATED PREFECT

He wasn't just any other class prefect, Kevin was the 'de facto' leader of class 2 East. His  pulchritudinous  face made him stand out from the rest. THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.

The events of  that day of October are still very fresh  in my mind like   the first beam of light  glittering on a sail -  despite the fact that they happened exactly a decade ago. When I realized I had to sit for the exams in a sickly condition, e motions flashed across my  face like the sweep of sun-rent clouds over a quiet landscape. I knew very well that my condition was going to affect my performance. The imagination of seeing an opportunity of improving my life   melting  away like snow in a thaw, made me  filled with fear and trepidation. WHAT GOES AROUND?...

 About 40 years ago, a motorist got stuck on one of our muddy village roads. He requested a group of men who were nearby to help him, but they refused. One of the men was my Grandpa. The motorist turned to a group of boys who were playing nearby for assistance. The boys helped him. One of the boys was my Uncle (the son of my Grandpa, who together with other men refused to help the motorist).  Later that day, my Uncle (a small boy by then - probably a class three pupil) was bitten by a Snake on his leg. Efforts were made to get means of transport, to rush him to the Hospital for treatment. The motorist who got stuck earlier on our village road was on his way back, when he was stopped by my terrified Grandpa asking for assistance. The motorist recognised my Grandpa as one of the men who refused to help him earlier in the day - but he also recognised my Uncle as one of the boys who helped him.
